ADE Next: Kremlin Techlabs
24 October 2010This year the Kremlin Techlabs were part of ADE Next for the first time. You had to do something though, to come there: climb all the stairs, all the way up to the top floor of the event. When almost at the top a cacophony of sounds are leaving the top floor.

When we finally are there, we find demonstrations of new gear on the left of the room. People are watching all the newest gear over there. Demonstrations were given by people from all the common software and gear brands. Also the Töken was being demonstrated in that room. The screen is brighter than expected, and as far as we can say, it worked like a dream.
In the room next to the demonstration room it looks like some kind of strange first aid room from a near feature. The doctors are still human, but the patients are digital. In long white hospital coats experts from the SAE Institute where helping with unfinished tracks from producers. If someone had problems with a sound, arrangement or any other problems, the doctors – all with their own expertise – where around to give some CPR. The few times we took a look in both of the rooms it was pretty crowded. A success, one might say.
