TrouwAmsterdam: a new label is born

You probably know about TrouwAmsterdam – Trouw in short – as a club. But Trouw is branching out: they recently started a newspaper and a bookings agency, and during the ADE the Trouw label will be launched.

The first release on the label is an album by one of their resident dj’s. Patrice Bäumel, who hosts the 360 nights together with Nuno dos Santos, has just finished his debut longplayer Vapour. He has previously produced some releases on Get Physical, Trapez and !K7, but his first full length album goes to this new Amsterdam based label.

Patrice describes this new album as ‘headphone techno’; music that can be played out loud in a club, but that also should work when you’ve made yourself comfortable on the couch, and listen to it with your headphones on and your eyes closed.
