Some of the festival names are out there. So what's the plan?
12 August 2010It’s mid-August and the first names are announced. Who would have expected Kelis? Or what about Magnetic Man – maybe a bit less of a surprise, but still a huge booking. And of course the world- famous and re-appearing Dimitri will attend ADE as well. We’ve been at his first gig after his sabbatical, in TrouwAmsterdam, and we can tell you it’s worth the visit.
From now on small pockets of names will be announced. Be sure to check the ADE blog regularly. Without giving away too much we can tell you it’s worth the wait. We’ve had a meeting with the DJBroadcast guys yesterday to make a nice planning for the upcoming DJBroadcast magazine, which will also be your ADE programme guide. The magazine will feature interviews with loads of artists from different scenes and thus will give you an insight view of some of the subcultures in the bigger world of dance music.
Off course there will be a city map included, together with some of the less obvious places to visit, and we will take a dive in the 15 year history of ADE. And for those who keep themselves together during nighttime there will be a little overview of things to do when the sun is trying to pick through the clouds. Be sure to get a copy of DJBroadcast’s ADE special before or during ADE. It will make your stay a bit easier.
