ADE teams up with Music and Bits for the second time

After a successful start in 2009, Amsterdam Dance Event teams up with Music and Bits for the second time. Music and Bits is – the name reveals a lot – all about music in combination with modern technology. Think streaming sites, online playlists, sharing possibilities and promotional possibilities.

Last year Music and Bits kicked off with a chat between two guys who dedicated their lives to music and technology: Speedy J and Eric Wahlforss from the sharing and streaming website Soundcloud  discussed the new musical possibilities given by new modern techniques, and shared their thoughts about the future. Also key figures from other digital platforms like Last.fm, RjDj ,The Echo Nest and Hypem came on stage to tell about the newest developments in there scenes.

Speedy J back then found the possible legal issues les interesting than the advantages sharing platforms offer. Now, a year later opinions may have changed, and platforms may have risen or fallen. A good opportunity for a new edition of Music and Bits. Music and Bits is organized by Tim Heineke, Edial Dekker, Vincent Lindeboom en Roel van der Veen.
